The goals of this two person team project were to create accurate construction drawings of our bench so that another team could construct a mock up section using only two 36x48 corrugated cardboards. Even using cardboard the bench had to be designed structurally sound so that a person could sit on the finished result.

Our bench was meant to embody the word "support". The design combines function, aesthetics and ergonomics in a result that is both pleasant to look at and sit in. The gently sloping backrest and lounge seat support the user’s entire body in a maximally comfortable position.
